🐹 Three-Striped Hamster or One-Striped Hamster?

58

💡 They both look round and fluffy, but what’s the difference?

Sometimes, when hamsters get a little too chubby,
they all look like tiny furballs 🥹💖
But actually, there are key differences between them!

🔹 Main Differences: One-Striped vs. Three-Striped Hamsters

① Stripe Pattern on Their Back
One-Striped Hamster 🐹 → Has only one dark stripe running down its back.
Three-Striped Hamster 🐹 → Has three stripes, a central dark stripe with two fainter ones on the sides.

② Body Shape & Size
One-Striped → Generally smaller & slimmer in body shape.
Three-Striped → Tends to be chubbier & rounder, especially when well-fed!

③ Fur Color Variations
One-Striped → Fewer color variations, often grayish-brown or sandy-colored.
Three-Striped → Comes in more colors, like silver fox, purple-gray, etc.

④ Personality & Behavior
One-Striped → More energetic & curious, harder to train.
Three-Striped → Generally calmer & easier to tame.

🔹 How to Tell Which Hamster You Have?

📌 Look at the stripe on its back! One stripe = One-Striped, Three stripes = Three-Striped.
📌 Check the body size! If it's extra round & fluffy, it's likely a Three-Striped hamster.
📌 Observe its personality! Super active & playful? Probably a One-Striped hamster!
