🐹 Are Hamsters Super Clean Freaks?
March 18,2025

Wash paws, wash face, wash body, wash butt, wash back… (oops, can’t reach!)
Constant grooming is a natural hamster habit—just like how humans shower daily! 🚿✨
But Why Do They Always Clean Themselves?
🧐Sometimes, they’re not actually dirty but just:
✔️ Bored after eating and want to tidy up their fur
✔️ Reacting to a clean cage—they want their familiar scent back
✔️ Feeling “off”—so they apply their own saliva perfume
This territorial grooming is completely normal!
Your hamster is just making sure it smells like… itself 🐹💖
